OVC Programs

The Convention on the Rights of the Child denes a 'child' as a person below the age of 18 (0 - 17 years), unless the laws of a particular country set the legal age for adulthood younger.

An Orphan is a child below eighteen years who has lost one or both parents and a vulnerable child is any child who is currently experiencing or likely to experience lack of adequate care and protection.

FAECARE has a series of programs and a well structured OVC program that provides some step gap delivery services like:

  • FAECARE Education Support Fund

  • PURPLE (Children's Charity Concert) for ALL children

  • ROOT (Vitamin A + Deworming Program)

  • Visitation and Support to Orphanages

  • Birth Registration

  • Kids Club
